Liverpool will win the Premier League title in the coming days, but the club are prepared to spend big in the summer transfer window to back Arne Slot’s vision for the team. Big plans are in place to ensure the club do not stand still after notching up their 20th top-flight title.
Slot has plans to reshape the squad in the summer and is keen to ensure that he has a completely fresh-looking attack at his disposal next season.
However, the Liverpool manager is also interested in bringing in defensive and midfield reinforcements in the next window to bolster his options for the 2025/26 campaign.
The Reds are expecting to have their most expensive window in the club’s history, but the scale of their spending is set to dwarf some of their Premier League rivals this summer.

Liverpool tipped to spend through the roof this summer

Liverpool have identified a few expensive targets for the summer, and it has been claimed that money is going to be made available for Slot to carry out his squad revamp.
Former Everton CEO Keith Wyness admitted that what he is hearing from his contacts at Liverpool is that the Dutchman is set to receive unprecedented backing this summer.
He claimed that the transfer budget will be over £250m, and they could emerge as the biggest spenders in the Premier League in the upcoming window.
“My initial thought was that by extending the contracts of Salah and Van Dijk, that will really eat into the budget”, he told the Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast.
“But speaking to Liverpool contacts, they are saying no – they want to back Arne Slot. There could be two or three seriously marquee signings.
“They’re talking about £250m being available to spend, which would be amazing.
“They’ll be in the Champions League, they won’t have PSR issues – it’s not impossible to see that happening.
“They could be one to watch in this window. They were quiet last summer, Slot wanted to settle in – now, they’re going to back him.
“I think they will splash the cash.”
FSG have often been accused of not spending enough by Liverpool fans, and it seems they want to change that perception this summer.
