Liverpool could sign Napoli forward Kvicha Kvaratskhelia for as little as £86M after his incredible start to life at the elite level of European football.
According to the player’s agent, who was speaking to Fabrizio Romano, the Georgian will be worth €100M (£86.7M) by the time he leaves Napoli.
He said: “You know what’s crazy, he’s done what he’s been doing in Russia and Europe for the past couple of years.
“He’s come to Napoli, he’s been brilliant, and people are talking about €100million (£86.7million).
Many european top clubs monitoring the winger Khvicha #Kvaratskhelia. RealMadrid, Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea, ManCity have sent their scouts to watch his games in the last weeks, but #Napoli consider Kvara a key-player non-transferable. #transfers

“For me, if he continues to perform like this till the end of the season and next season, because there’s a 0% chance they sell him [in January]. He will reach €100million (£86.7million) for sure.”
Jurgen Klopp was impressed with Kvarat after the Reds beat Napoli 2-0 on Tuesday evening thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez.
What does Jurgen Klopp think of Kvaratskhelia?
While discussing the key battle between Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kvaratskhelia, the German manager said: “He’s a good player. Both are good players, so it’s a really difficult one.
“I know people will talk about one or two situations when Trent tried to be in front of him and the ball goes through.
“You have to try to be there in the moment when the ball arrives, but if you cannot do that then you need to be protected because he has speed, he is cheeky, he goes inside, he can go outside, that makes it always really difficult.

“A good player and I thought Trent played a really good game against him, was really on fire, didn’t get frustrated by one or two situations where he was second-best, stayed in the game and I liked Trent’s game tonight.
“But he is really good, the boy, and really quick and you have to defend him together in these moments. When he has the advantage of the first movement, then he is already gone.”
It was an incredibly technical game and one that will hopefully boost the confidence of a group of players that seems to be one or two games away from catastrophe at any given time.
Kvaratskhelia shone against Liverpool despite strong defensive display
Kvaratskhelia was kept reasonably quiet by Alexander-Arnold and Ibrahima Konate with the Georgian substituted just after 80 minutes with the final 30 minutes of his display uncharacteristically subdued.
Yet, he was regularly a dangerous player throughout the match for Napoli. What makes the 21-year-old so threatening is his magnetic close control coupled with his acceleration, top speed and centre of gravity.

Not in the way he looks when he dribbles but because of his acceleration and agility, Kvaratskhelia reminds me of Lionel Messi from around 2008-2010. The Argentine was essentially impossible to stop but what made him so dangerous was that he could turn any situation into a goal with his dribbling and finishing.
That’s what’s missing from the modern game these days. Wingers are so burdened with instructions that sometimes it seems their instincts are restricted.
In the Premier League especially, players are held back by how much pressure there is on retaining possession so as to avoid having to defend that it seems like attackers often look terrified of taking risks.
Not Kvaratskhelia.
He has the potential to become world-class if he can maintain the levels he has reached this season.
For club and country this season, he has 17 goals and 10 assists in 30 games.
Almost a goal or assist per game.
I want him.
