Liverpool’s new attacking midfielder, Fabio Carvalho, could make his official debut for the club against his former side Fulham on the first day of the Premier League season.

The fixtures for the new season have been released and the first game of the 2022/23 league campaign will kick off with a trip to Craven Cottage.

Liverpool face Fulham on the 6th of August in a lunchtime kick off.

All fixtures can be found on the club’s official website by clicking here.

The trip down to London will give 19-year-old Carvalho the chance to make his official debut for the Reds against his former side in a pleasing full-circle moment for the young star.

Carvalho scored 11 goals and got 8 assists last season for the Cottagers and is expected to be a future star for Klopp’s side with many speculating he is the ‘new Roberto Firmino.’

He is yet to be officially unveiled by Liverpool but will be on the 1st of July once his Fulham contract has officially expired.

That said, however, Liverpool have already completed all the steps necessary to complete his move to Anfield.
