Divock Origi is looking for an exit from Liverpool Football Club as his chances will be severely limited this season due to the arrival of Diogo Jota from Wolves.
The £41million signing arrives as backup to Sadio Mane and will see Origi’s game time restricted more than it was before the Portuguese signed for Liverpool Football Club.
According to sources close to Anfield Central, Lille and Lyon are the latest to enquire over Origi’s availability and the fee that would be required to sign him permanently.
The Belgian is also reportedly on the Brighton and Hove Albion’s radar, with the Daily Mail claiming that the Seagulls are interested in acquiring his services after picking up Adam Lallana on a free transfer this summer.
While it would likely be an attractive move for Origi to make, Brighton are not keen on the €16m fee they have been quoted by Liverpool, with their idea of a reasonable fee coming in at below £10m.
Lille and Lyon are yet to officially register their interest with Liverpool, with the two Ligue 1 sides touching base with Origi’s agent after Jota was announced as having joined the Reds last week.
While Origi may not have set the world alight during his time at Liverpool, the 25-year-old has done wonderfully with the limited chances he has been afforded, scoring 34 goals.
The former Lille forward is yet to hit his prime and if Danny Ings form since leaving the club is anything to go by, Origi should blossom with more game time in his preferred position.
