After three months away from the spotlight, Liverpool are finally back as they prepare to take on Everton.

The Reds sit top of the Premier League table, with a 25 point lead over second-placed Manchester City.

City won their game in hand against Arsenal on Wednesday, meaning Liverpool can’t win the league at Goodison Park anymore.

However, Jurgen Klopp’s men know that a win here means that they are just one more victory away from their first Premier League title.

The Toffees haven’t beaten Liverpool since the 2010/11 season and have lost 3 of their last 4 games against them.

If Everton beat Liverpool this weekend, they would delay Liverpool’s title confirmation for another week so is the perfect time to finally get one over the old enemy.

Team News

Both teams will go into this derby with relatively full-strength squads. However, Everton will be without Yerry Mina and Theo Walcott and will monitor Andre Gomes and Fabian Delph ahead of kick-off.

The Egyptian missed last week’s friendly against Blackburn Rovers, which the club described as precautionary. Aside from this, the Reds will be at full strength on Sunday, barring any late injuries.
