They are gearing up to intensify their interest in the player and try to gauge how much money Atalanta could demand before agreeing to sell him.
The Serie A side do not want to lose him in the winter window and would prefer to only entertain offers next summer.
It has been claimed that it would take somewhere between €65m to €75m to convince Atalanta to sell Lookman.
