Liverpool’s €500k-a-week star attacking target is winding down and it could mean another transfer saga in the near future.
The footballing superstar that is Kylian Mbappe has been a target of Liverpool in the past, especially during times of unrest at Paris Saint-Germain.
His deal runs out in 2024 and the general consensus is that he would join up with Real Madrid following Karim Benzema’s departure.
However, the Reds hold interest from afar and have been linked with the forward in the past.

Mbappe only has two years left
According to L’Equipe reports that Mbappe put pen to a two-year contract until June 2024, which has an extra year option.
It means the uncertainty surrounding his contract will re-appear next summer, as he would be entering the final year of his deal.
When you’re one of the best players in the world entering the final year of your deal, it makes for headline news and all the top clubs that can afford him will be alerted to this.
Mbappe is reportedly earning £42.5M (€50M) per year, which is certainly unrealistic for just about every club in the world, bar a special few.

There were even questions raised to Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti – due to Madrid’s consistent interest in the player – during his press conference ahead of the Champions League.
Ancelotti was also on hand to give a typically humorous reaction to the question: “Ancelotti on Kylian Mbappé: “Kylian contract? Again with this? [laughs] We are delighted with our players… we’re very happy with Vinicius and Rodrygo”.
It just shows how big a story Mbappe can be. He had previously spoken with Klopp about a potential move during a time when Liverpool were dominant in England.
It still seems like a move to Madrid is calling Mbaooe, who might play in England one day.
