According to Rousing The Kop, Salah’s agreement is understood to carry a clause by which his time at Liverpool could be mutually ended after just one year.
It means the winger and the club could decide to end the deal next summer, and he could leave on a free transfer.
It is essentially a one-year extension if Salah wants to move on in 2026. However, there is some good news as well.
The new deal also contains an option to extend the contract by one more year after 2027, if both sides are willing to do so.
