Sky Sports: Liverpool and Manchester United have a ‘very good chance’ to sign £103M superstar

Bellingham

Liverpool have been rated as having a ‘very good chance’ to sign Jude Bellingham next summer but will face competition from Manchester United.

The Reds have tailed the Borussia Dortmund star for a while now and the midfielder is likely to leave the German club next summer.

Given that three of Liverpool’s midfield options (James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita) are all out of contract next summer, they will recruit and revitalise their midfield options.

According to the latest reports, Bellingham is very likely to leave Dortmund next summer, with a move to either Liverpool or Manchester United very possible.

Latest reports on Bellingham to Liverpool

As claimed by Sky Sports, the former Birmingham City star wants to make the move back to England and will leave in 2023.

“It’s the same situation as (Jadon) Sancho, (Erling) Haaland and now Bellingham, he’s an up-and-coming superstar player and I’m totally convinced he will leave in 2023, maybe to Liverpool or maybe to Manchester United,” explained Florian Plettenberg.

The Athletic reported that Liverpool and Real Madrid would lock horns for his signature but United is also an option. He’s a player that has been described as ‘one of a kind‘ and is a highly coveted young talent.

According to Sky Sports reporter Melissa Reddy, Manchester City could also be involved n a move. “Manchester City are likely to be sniffing around him because when you’re looking at your midfield and a player for the next five years and you’re thinking what you can add to it, you mention his age he’s so young but the experience he has at the highest level – Champions League football and the responsibility and maturity he has, all the top clubs will want him in midfield”

He registers between the 95th-99th percentile for npxG + xA, progressive passes received, touches in the attacking penalty area, touches in the attacking penalty area, dribbles completed and assists.

At 19, he’s valued at £72M, has 15 caps for his country and has already played 144 games at senior level.
