Adama Traore has been tipped to leave Wolves this month by Gabriel Agbonlahor amid links to Liverpool.
“Adama Traore, he hasn’t sorted out his new contract. You can tell he wants to leave.
“So, I think Wolves are going to be in big trouble this season,” the former Villa man is quoted as saying by HITC.
According to 90Min’s Graeme Bailey, Liverpool are “hopeful of being able to strike a deal“ with Wolves for Traore.
This is in spite of the fact that Wolves are unwilling to sell Traore for less than £40million (€47m) with the Reds said to have held “conversations” over the powerful forward.

While Liverpool looked bright and sharp in their first game of the season against Norwich City, they will need to make do with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane when they leave for AFCON in the New Year.
This means that Jurgen Klopp will be left without his two best attackers and so bringing in a new forward would be advisable – especially one with experience of the Premier League.
Adama Traore isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but he would be a menace in Liverpool’s counter-pressing team and I can only imagine what it would be like to bring him off the bench either to chase a result or to see one through to full time.
The Spanish winger is a beast – he even has it etched onto his new boots for the 2021/22 season but I’m not sure spending £40million (€47m) on him is the answer.

However, if Liverpool can get Wolves to agree either to a lower fee or to a staggered payment structure like they did with Diogo Jota, it would make signing Traore much easier for the Reds.
That said, at almost €50m, there are better options out there for Liverpool to assess.
