Rangers will receive just 1,027 tickets for their Europa League qualifying trip to face Jagiellonia Bialystok in Poland on August 6.
The Ibrox side face the Polish outfit in the first leg of their third qualifying round clash, with the away allocation confirmed as the standard capacity for the away section at Stadion Miejski.
The club’s SLO made the announcement, confirming the tight allocation and leaving supporters with a race to secure one of the limited briefs available for the match.
Those fortunate enough to get a ticket will then face a logistical headache, as there are no direct flights into Bialystok from Scotland or the wider United Kingdom.
The nearest airports are located in Warsaw, placing supporters some 200 kilometres, or 124 miles, away from the match venue upon landing.
That significant distance means fans will need to arrange onward travel across Poland entirely on their own, adding considerable time and cost to what is already a demanding trip.
Making things more difficult, Rangers have confirmed that no official club travel option will be provided for supporters making the journey for this round.
The full statement from the club’s SLO reads: “Further to the below, we can confirm that there will be no official club travel option for this round.”
The statement continued: “We have also been advised that the away section has a capacity of up to 1,027 supporters, subject to final confirmation.”
Rangers also warned supporters not to rush into booking any arrangements, as the fixture date itself remains subject to change, potentially due to television scheduling requirements.
The SLO added: “Fixture dates remain subject to change and will be confirmed as soon as we can.”
Kickoff times for the August 6 first leg have not yet been announced, adding another layer of uncertainty for fans attempting to plan the trip.
The second leg would then follow at Ibrox, giving Rangers the chance to progress in front of their home support should they navigate the first match in Bialystok.
Supporters are being urged to hold off on finalising any travel plans until further official details are confirmed by the club in the coming weeks.
