Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes has several big decisions to make in the summer. Arne Slot wants to bring in several new reinforcements for his squad, but the club will also have to find ways to move on players to make space in the squad and the wage bill for new arrivals.
Hughes has his work cut out ahead of the summer transfer window as the Reds edge towards winning the Premier League title in Slot’s first season as Liverpool manager.
The sporting director will be under pressure to back the manager in the transfer market and bring in the players that could bolster a title-winning squad.
Liverpool are expected to spend massive sums in the summer, but the club are also aware that they need to sell well to adhere to their self-sustainable model.
Can you name the team Liverpool sold these players to?

Liverpool yet to decide on the departure of a homegrown product

Selling academy players has emerged as a massive income source for clubs in the Premier League in the PSR era, and Liverpool are looking to tap into that market.
Jarell Quansah has been a squad player this season, and with Liverpool pushing to sign another centre-back, he is expected to leave the Merseyside giants this summer.
As many as six clubs are interested in the Liverpool defender, and the Reds have been tipped to sell him for a fee in the region of £30m in the upcoming window.
However, according to Sky Deutschland, Liverpool are yet to make a key transfer decision on the future of Quansah ahead of the summer.
He is still expected to leave, but the Reds are still undecided on whether to sell him or consider offers to loan the defender out in the coming months.
Quansah would require guarantees of regular football before he agrees to join a club in the summer.
