The Reds have made no progress in talks over a new deal

The Ibrahima Konate situation has become murkier, and Liverpool are now worried that they could be forced to sell him this summer.

He has a year left on his contract, and there are fears interest from Paris Saint-Germain has turned his head ahead of the next window.

Liverpool have been left shocked by his wage demands, and the club have been trying to convince him to agree to a compromise on the new contract.

However, according to the Daily Mail, the Reds have made zero progress in talks over a new deal with his representatives, which started months back.

There has been no meaningful progress in the negotiations as the defender edges closer to entering the final 12 months of his contract in the summer.

At this rate, the Reds are likely to sell him in the next window to get a fee from his departure rather than lose him on a free transfer next year.
