Liverpool are almost certain to spend big in the summer to back Arne Slot’s vision for the squad. The Reds want to bring in reinforcements across several areas of the squad, but they will also need to sell well. However, it seems the club are set to earn a premium fee from the sale of a talented but unproven youngster in the summer.
The Merseyside giants are marching towards winning the Premier League this season. However, work is underway behind the scenes to ensure they have a big summer.
Slot wants to reconfigure the attack, and the club are open to offers for Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota in the summer to find moves for younger world-class options.
Liverpool are also pushing to bring in more funds through sales of a few academy products, and it seems they will get a premium fee for a talented youngster in the next window.

Football finance expert expects Liverpool to earn a big fee from the sale of a winger

Ben Doak is having an impressive season on loan at Middlesbrough and could play a big role in getting them promoted to the Premier League.
The 19-year-old is set to return to Anfield in the summer, but Liverpool have been tipped to sell him, with Everton interested in getting their hands on him.
Football finance expert Dan Plumley conceded that it’s a deal that can happen as Liverpool do not see Everton as a threat despite their local rivalry.
However, he believes the Reds will charge more money to sell the winger to Everton in the summer.
“It’s plausible”, Plumley exclusively told Goodison News.
“We know how transfers work, we know negotiations are hard, and people drive a hard bargain if you’re looking for an inter-city swap, that adds another layer to it.
“They are in different league positions, if we’re being brutally honest, so Liverpool may not see that as a threat to them right now in terms of one player, but they may squeeze the margin as well.
“It’s a tricky one for the player as well, moving between clubs in a city is difficult, so it does add another layer of complexity to it, and could increase the price a little bit.”
Abel Xavier was the last player to move from Liverpool to Everton, but that was 23 years ago, and the transfer fee was just £750,000.
