Fabrizio Romano reveals Liverpool plan

Liverpool have two areas they will focus on ahead of this summer. It has already been hinted to that many transfer decisions will depend on the futures of Van Dijk and Salah. A new defender and a striker are reportedly high on Liverpool’s list. Alexander Isak is getting closer to a move to Anfield after rejecting Newcastle’s contract offer.
One position the reds look to be content with is at right back. Liverpool will eventually lose Trent Alexander-Arnold. And according to Fabrizio Romano, the club plan to put their trust in Conor Bradley.
“In terms of right-back, what I’m hearing is that they are very happy with Conor Bradley. They believe that Conor Bradley can be part of this future Liverpool squad. They believe he’s a huge talent.”
“The responsibility of being the starting right-back at Liverpool is going to be completely different, but they feel this boy has everything in place in order to become an important player for Arne Slot.”
Bradley has featured in 22 games this season, providing two assists in all competitions.
Surprise move from the reds
Many fans will disagree that Conor Bradley is ready to take over the starting role full time. The youngster has shown that he is quite injury prone despite the immense talent he possesses. Bradley has earned the trust of Arne Slot as well as Liverpool fans. His attacking upside is great, but not close to Trent Alexander-Arnold. Bradley is also a much better defensive player at the position.
Liverpool would be making a huge mistake going into next season with Bradley as the only option. The reds need to add an established right back for competition.
