Liverpool have their hands full when the current season ends.
The Reds are still on course to win the treble at the end of the campaign. Arne Slot can lift his first trophy of the season in the League Cup final against Newcastle in the coming weeks. Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the Premier League after Arsenal dropped points on the weekend. The Reds face PSG in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 clash next month.
When the season ends, Liverpool could lose Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil Van Dijk. The trio could all leave when their contracts expire in the summer.

Liverpool discover Trent Alexander-Arnold future
Trent Alexander-Arnold has been linked with a move away from Liverpool since January. Real Madrid had a bid rejected for the defender at the start of the winter transfer window. Liverpool rejected the bid and insisted on keeping him till the end of the season. The latest report has revealed that the England international is willing to wait till the end of the season before he makes a decision on his future. Trent has been in talks with the Spanish side, but the deal is currently on hold.
This latest move might have all but confirmed his future. Fabrizio Romano reports that Bayern Munich have agreed a new deal with Joshua Kimmich. The 30-year old will extend his stay with the Bundesliga giants. Kimmich was a target for both Liverpool and Real Madrid. The reds targeted him as a replacement for Trent, while Madrid saw him as a plan B in case Trent remained in England. Now we know where Alexander-Arnold will end up at the end of the season.

What does this mean for the club?
Liverpool missing out on Kimmich as a potential replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold is a huge blow. The new deal with Bayern Munich all but guarantees Trent moving to Spain. Liverpool might be forced into the market for a new right back. Even though Conor Bradley has showed he is competent enough to start, his availability recently has been an issue. Joe Gomez is not a natural fullback, so he cannot become the starter.
Liverpool will need to sign a fullback who is ready to start in the first team. They might have already found their target. Flamengo’s Wesley Lima has been linked with a move to England, the 21-year old is highly rated in Brazil.
