Video: Imminent new £37m signing Diaz scoring from incredible angle for Porto

Is it Christmas? It certainly feels like it as we woke up to the news this morning that Porto and Liverpool are in advanced talks over a £37million deal for Luis Diaz.

Paul Joyce, the most reliable source for breaking Liverpool news, reported that the club is working on finalising a deal to bring the Colombian to Anfield after hijacking Tottenham’s interest.

Naturally, what was a slow Twitter timeline exploded into life as fans checked to see if the tweet was genuine or if a cheeky fan had made a fake account to troll fellow users but the news is real and things are moving rapidly.

Liverpool are getting a fantastic player. Diaz is capable of scoring unbelievable goals. From overhead kicks in Copa America against Brazil to solo goals in Liga Nos to long-range strikes like in the video embedded below, the Kop is set to be entertained.
