There is a "strong possibility" that Liverpool can complete €50M move to sign ace

Liverpool reportedly have a strong chance to sign Matheus Nunes this summer, according to CM Journal from Portugal.

The Sporting Lisbon forward is just what Liverpool's midfield needs. He's a strong runner and is able to create play on his own.

Naby Keita is more than capable to play the same role but he's not as powerful as the 23-year-old.

The Guinean Liverpool star has also struggled with injuries during his time at Anfield and whether or not he is beyond these niggling issues is unclear yet.

The Reds' attempt to sign Aurelien Tchouameni proves that there is serious interest from Liverpool as far as signing a new midfielder is concerned.

Jude Bellingham has also been very heavily linked with the Reds but signing him is practically impossible until next summer.

Borussia Dortmund do not want to sell the teenager after they lost Erling Haaland to Manchester City.

So the question is whether Liverpool will now sign someone like Nunes or wait to sign Bellingham in 2023.

Given the interest in the Englishman from Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United, there is no public information to suggest he will choose Liverpool or that they will even be able to match their rivals to pay the fee required.

James Pearce has reported that the Reds will not be put off by the £103M required to sign him but investigating all options is in their best interest.

There is reportedly a strong possibility that Matheus Nunes will move to England this summer.

He is valued at £42.5M (€50M) by Sporting Lisbon.
