Salah is 'certain' to be offered new Anfield deal

Liverpool's Egyiptian winger Mohammed Salah is 'certain' to be offered a new deal by the club.

That is according to Neil Jones of Goal.com who reports that Salah is more than likely to remain at Anfield. He reports that both parties are willing to commit to each other.

This has all come after Salah's shock intervew with Spanish news outlet AS. The winger talked about Real Madrid and Barcelona before saying 'Who knows what will happen in the future." But despite that the club want to tie Salah down to a longer deal with his current deal set to expire in June 2023.

He does make a good point of AS being a outlet that tends to 'lean' towards Real Madrid. So a question surrounding a possible move to the Spanish capital was highly likely to come up.

At 28-years of age the winger is at the peak of his powers right now. However, the club are not naïve enough to think that no would be interested in Salah.

However, as Neil Jones states that Liverpool is the best place for him. With how the club is going and with Klopp in charge, you can not argue with him.

This news of a new deal was already reported by Anfield Central two days ago courtesy of a source close to the site.

In typical fashion, Salah left all the talking on the pitch after grabbing two goals from the bench in Liverpool's 7-0 win over Palace. Those two goals take his tally to 13 goals in the league, two ahead of Son (Spurs) in second place.

Every Liverpool fan around the world wants this team to stay together for as long as possible. As for Salah, Neil Jones has reassured us fans that there is nothing to worry about.
