"We will see soon!" €50million Liverpool star confirms he will leave Anfield this summer: it's what his supporters want

€50million star confirms he will leave Liverpool after claim 60-70% of his country's fans want him to leave the club this summer.

The Senegal international is well poised to join Bayern Munich this summer with the German side looking to bring Liverpool down from their €50million valuation of Mane.

Bayern have offered €30m+bonuses for the ex-Southampton star but the Reds need to hold out for a bigger fee otherwise they will battle to fund a move for an elite replacement.

Mane was asked for his opinion on a poll that indicated many of his fans in Senegal want him to leave Liverpool this summer.

"Like everyone else," Mane began, "I'm on social media and I see the comments.

"Isn't it between 60 to 70 per cent of Senegalese that want me to leave Liverpool?

"I will do what they want. We will see soon! Don't be in a hurry because we'll see this together."

Mane has all but confirmed his departure this summer even though Liverpool and Bayern are yet to reach an agreement over a transfer fee.

That said, after the deal agreed to sign Thiago Alcantara from the Bundesliga champions, there is a strong relationship between the two sides and it's expected that a compromise will be reached.

Jurgen Klopp will be devastated to see Mane leave the club as it was the 30-year-old that really triggered the transformation at Anfield.

Mane added pace and elite movement to a side that lacked both and he formed an incredible trio with Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho.

Together, they helped Liverpool secure Champions League qualification for the first time under Klopp before reaching the final the following season.

I do not envy those behind the scenes tasked with finding a suitable replacement given all that Mane has achieved with Liverpool.

In his career for the Reds, he played 269 games and scored a total of 120 goals with 48 assists.
