Roberto Firmino could reportedly leave Liverpool as his contract winds down as Jurgen Klopp now prefers Diogo Jota in the no.9 role.

El Nacional reported over the weekend that the Reds would ask for €20million (£16.7m) to sell the Brazilian.

Bobby has struggled with a hamstring injury this season which forced him to miss 39 days and 9 games although he has still managed to contribute 7 goals and 4 assists this season which is comparable to Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus' 6 goals and 9 assists.

Although, the Liverpool forward has played 615 minutes fewer. Jota has made the central attacking role his own this season, with 12 goals and 2 assists.

Liverpool would consider selling Firmino in the summer for €20m as his contract expires in 18 months. Out of the famous front three, he seems most likely to not be given a new contract as his attacking output has waned the most.

Sadio Mane might lack the killer instinct that Mohamed Salah has in front of goal but he still contributes massively in build-up play and he does still score a decent amount of goals with 10 goals and 1 assist this season in what is supposed to be another disappointing campaign.

It's going to be sad to say goodbye to Firmino when he does leave as he has been such an incredible servant for the club.

He has been at Liverpool since Brendan Rodgers was at Liverpool and nearly won the Europa League with the Reds, could have won the Champions League in 2018, eventually did in 2019 and lifted the Premier League in 2020.

Along the way, he scored 94 goals and assisted 73. He's undoubtedly the greatest Brazilian to play in the Premier League and has been one of the most fun Liverpool players to watch during the Jurgen Klopp tenure.

Hopefully, he scores 6 more goals before he leaves the club so he can reach the 100-goal mark for the Reds.
