Predicted XI to face Crystal Palace: Thrilling Liverpool front four to start - Could start Premier League opener

Liverpool are set for game two of their pre-season tour of Asia with Premier League opposition shaping up in the form of Crystal Palace.

The Reds lost 4-0 to Manchester United, resulting in some predictable banter over Darwin Nunez's awful sitter.

Proof that Darwin Nunez's miss wasn't that bad (A Liverpool fan clutching at straws?

The Uruguayan had barely trained and is clearly out of shape but that will change over the course of pre-season.

The start of the Premier League season is not far off now.

Predicted Line-Up:

Liverpool fielded three different line-ups against United on Tuesday and Klopp is likely to utilise most of his large squad in this game.

Diogo Jota will certainly miss out after a recurrence of his hamstring injury and goalkeeper Alisson did sit out training on Thursday with a small issue and may miss out here.

Klopp is expected to make wholesale changes across this game too with plenty of youth and key players getting a run-out.

While it is almost impossible to predict what line-up he will go with from the start - we can expect key players to get at least 45 minutes as we move a step closer to the return of the Premier League.

Predicted XI: Kelleher, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Konate, Tsimikas, Fabinho, Jones, Carvalho, Diaz, Firmino, Salah

Palace have already played two friendlies - drawing 1-1 with Accrington Stanley and beating Millwall 5-4 in an epic.

The Eagles have now travelled to Singapore for this game before heading to Australia to take on Manchester United and Leeds United in Melbourne and Perth respectively.

Vieira's side's last friendly of the summer is against Montpellier on July 30, one week before they open the 2022-23 Premier League season at home to Arsenal.

The South London club finished 12th in Viera's first season in charge and have signed Cheick Doucoure, Sam Johnstone and Malcolm Ebiowei in the window so far.

Watch the game on LFCTV GO live from 1:35PM (GMT)
