Photos: Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah all smiles in training as Liverpool get ready for Benfica showdown

Liverpool host Benfica in the Champions League this evening and it would seem that Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah enjoyed training on Tuesday.

The pair was directly involved in the second goal against Man City on Sunday, with Salah providing an inch-perfect pass to Mane to score.

The Senegalese forward found the back of the net with a world class first time finish while his Egyptian teammate's pass split City's defence to perfection.

Villarreal shocked Europe by beating Bayern Munich 2-1 on aggregate and booked their place in the semifinals of the Champions League.

Should Liverpool hold onto their lead over Benfica, they will face the Yellow Submarine in the last four which will be seen by many as a favourable tie but they've now knocked out Juventus and Bayern Munich.

Jurgen Klopp will be very worried about what Alberto Moreno and his former teammates might have in store for the Reds, however, that's getting ahead of ourselves as Darwin Nunez and co. will have plenty to say tonight.
