Photo: Joel Matip’s hilarious reaction to Mohamed Salah’s world class goal vs. Man City

Joel Matip was typically hilarious in how he reacted to Mo Salah’s world-class solo goal vs. Manchester City.

The Cameroonian was world class against Chelsea when he kept Romelu Lukaku in his pocket and was similarly brilliant against Manchester City.

It’s unfortunate that the Reds lacked the control in the middle of the park to hold onto the lead as the goal below that Salah was able to produce deserved to go down as a winner.

While Liverpool fans were in hysterics, Salah was swamped by his teammates after scoring a goal that even Lionel Messi would be delighted to net against a side as good as Manchester City.

Matip jogged over from centre-back with his hands on his head in disbelief at Salah’s brilliance and his reaction was shared by millions of watchers from around the world.

The Egyptian forward left Bernardo Silva, Joao Cancelo, Aymeric Laporte and Ruben Dias sprawled in his wake and will be feeling frustrated that Liverpool didn’t hold on for the win.
