Liverpool can reach pre-contract agreement with €266,000/week no.10 this month – he’s rejected a new contract

Paulo Dybala has pulled out of contract talks with Juventus after the Italian club changed the terms of the deal and Liverpool have been tracking the Argentine’s contractual situation.

The last time Jurgen Klopp played with a no.10 in his starting lineup regularly was when he had Philippe Coutinho at his disposal but signing Dybala would given him the opportunity to alter his tactics.

Liverpool have been reliant on creativity from Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold in the last few years but a player like Dybala would allow the Reds to attack in central areas without suffocating or losing the ball.

According to TYC Sports, Juventus had already reached an agreement with Dybala over a new contract but went back on their word with the €266,000/week attacking midfielder.

The Turin giants reportedly changed the terms of the new deal which led to Dybala pulling out of contract talks. He now wants to leave the club and this gives Liverpool (and other interested parties) the opportunity to strike fast and snap him up ahead of the summer transfer window.

Paulo Dybala

His contract expires at the end of the season and so the Reds have a golden opportunity to sign a world-class player for free and according to Calciomercato, Liverpool were tracking Dybala’s contractual situation with a view to signing him for free.

Now that he looks set to leave for free, they must waste no time in presenting their best offer and hope he is open to a move to Anfield.

Dybala is enjoying a positive season for Juventus despite the club’s shaky form, with 9 goals and 4 assists.

Also, Dybala can really nail a knee slide.
