On this day in 2015, Roberto Firmino became a Liverpool player signing from Hoffenheim in a deal worth £29m.

The player has gone on to become a fan favourite in his time at Anfield, scoring some hugely important goals and has been a vital figure in the Liverpool machine.

He also joined forces with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah to create one of the best-attacking trios in Premier League history.

Scoring 98 goals and creating 67 assists in 327 games, Firmino has been an incredible servant for Liverpool.

It's even hard to look past the fact he may be the best Brazilian to have played in the Premier League ahead of even former Red, Philippe Coutinho.

Liverpool had never triumphed in the FIFA Club World Cup until 2019.

Winning the Champions League in the 2018/19 season saw them qualify for the tournament.

Firmino secured one of his best moments by scoring a late winner in extra time to eventually down Flamengo.

With Liverpool and Manchester City battling it out in recent years for major honours, Firmino hasn't shied away from the big games.

In a famous 4-3 win over the Citizens back in 2017, it was a game that felt like the start of something great.
