Naby Keita’s agent sends angry message to ‘Coach Klopp’ in surprising Tweet

Naby Keita’s agent, Malick Kebe, has posted on Twitter that we are yet to see the best of the Guinean and will only do so if he’s played in his favourite role by Jurgen Klopp.

The former RB Leipzig star has struggled for game time at Liverpool and despite being fit for the majority of the campaign, he has been unable to make an impact at Anfield.

His troubled Liverpool career took a turn for the worse when he was hauled off by Jurgen Klopp against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Now, posting to Twitter, the players’ agent, Malick Kebe, has said: “The day that Coach Klopp gets Naby Keita to play in his favourite role, you see what he will bring to Liverpool. He is a playmaker, not a scavenger.”

Keita has started just 11 times in the Premier League and Champions League this season and not in his preferred position.

With Liverpool missing skipper Jordan Henderson, he started as a no.8 against Madrid but was hauled off.

Kebe’s message to Klopp suggests that frustration is building over his role in the side, with the suggestion being made that he’s a playmaker and not a deep-lying playmaker.

The agent says that we have yet to see the best of Keita due to him not being played in his preferred role.

We reported last month that we were told that Keita would be free to leave the club if the Reds were offered a fee in the region of £35million.

Liverpool signed the midfielder for a fee worth a reported £52.75million and are yet to see the best of a player that joined from RB Leipzig with high expectations after he lit the Bundesliga up with his passing, dribbling and sensational movement.
