Silky Liverpool ace has done enough to start Liverpool’s first Premier League game

Naby Keita has done enough so far during pre-season to start against Norwich City when Liverpool get their Premier League campaign underway.

Athletic Club and Osasuna are the final friendlies of the summer for Jurgen Klopp’s side and then the Premier League season will begin.

Thanks to the EUROs, this summer flew by and now club football is back on the cards and while fans are panicking about summer signings, all I want is to see Naby Keita succeed.

The Guinean was voted the second-best Bundesliga in 2017 behind only Robert Lewandowski and until he joined Liverpool, had a near-perfect injury record.

In fact, he only had six injury issues while at RBL and ever since moving to Anfield, he has had a myriad of injuries but the 26-year-old is enjoying his best period of fitness since moving to England.

This pre-season, Keita has been nothing short of sensational.

He’s looked strong, fast and he’s shown the skill that made Liverpool sign him for £52million in the first place.

With Thiago, Fabinho and especially Jordan Henderson all forced to take longer holidays due to their summer commitments, Keita has had the entire pre-season to woo Klopp.

And I daresay he’s done a good job. In my opinion, the no.8 has done enough so far to earn a start vs.  Norwich City at Carrow Road on opening day.
