Liverpool win Carabao Cup on penalties after heroic Caoimhín Kelleher penalty

Liverpool beat Chelsea 11-10 on penalties to lift the Carabao Cup after an enthralling 0-0 stalemate was played out at Wembley on Sunday evening.

23-year-old Caoimhín Kelleher was the hero on the day for the Reds as he scored his penalty while Kepa Arrizabalaga launched his penalty into orbit to hand Liverpool their first trophy of the season.

The Reds face Norwich City in the FA Cup on Wednesday, the 2nd of February in their next fixture.
