Suarez says he couldn't play for another English club

Luis Suarez has revealed that Liverpool is the only English club he would consider playing for and that it “would be strange” to play for another side.

While speaking to World Soccer Magazine, Suarez was asked if he’d return to the Premier League and if he’d consider playing for anyone other than Liverpool.

He replied: “Playing for any team other than Liverpool in England would be hard.

“I had, and hope I still do have, such a good relationship with Liverpool fans that it would be strange for me to play for somebody else.”

Liverpool must pay €18million to sign Hlozek

Liverpool plan talks for Malen and Gravenberch

Liverpool are interested in Donyell Malen but are yet to open talks with PSV Eindhoven and the Dutchman is one of two Mino Raiola clients of interest.

Malen is a target for Liverpool, that much is true, and while the club contacted PSV previously to enquire about his contractual situation and their willingness to sell, they have yet to open formal talks with the Eredivisie outfit.

Liverpool will explore the possibility of negotiating a Naby Keita style deal to sign Gravenberch but it’s expected that Ajax will want to avoid agreeing on a fee until next summer.

This is because the player’s value, which Transfermarkt claims is already €33m (£29.7m), will only increase over the next year.
