Liverpool plot €30m bid for attacker after tracking him for three years - perfect addition to Klopp's squad

Liverpool are considering a €30million bid for Karim Adeyemi but have been following him for three years now.

Goal reports that Liverpool have been tracking the German attacker for three years and he could move to Anfield if the Reds act on their interest which isn't a stretch of the imagination.

He scored 9 goals and assisted 11 last season while playing as support for Patson Daka but now, with the Zambian in the Premier League with Leicester City, Adeyemi has the freedom to express himself at the Austrian Bundesliga champions.

Adeyemi joining Liverpool would be the ideal move for all parties involved for a host of reasons. For the teenager, it would give him the chance to test himself in the Premier League and play alongside world-class players like Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

For Jurgen Klopp, it would give him a player that could make an impact straight away but wouldn't expect to be an immediate starter which would alleviate the selection headache that often comes with making new signings.

That said, Adeyemi also looks like a player that can grow into a top-class attacker in the future so Klopp can take his time to nurture him and alongside Jota and Elliott, Liverpool could already have their future front three lined up.

For FSG, €30million isn't a bank-breaking sum of money even if it's a large sum for a 19-year-old.

According to Transfermarkt, Barca and Liverpool have a “strong interest in signing the offensive player” and a “fee of around 30 million euros is necessary” to recruit his services.

Hopefully, Liverpool follow through on their interest in Adeyemi and bring him to Anfield in January which I think is a genuine possibility as RB Salzburg sold Takumi Minamino to the Reds in the winter transfer window last January so they may be willing to do so again.
