Liverpool must capitalise on managerial unrest and sign Spurs duo worth £121.5m

Tottenham are yet to appoint a manager to replace Jose Mourinho and Liverpool need to use this as a chance to sign Tanguy Ndombele and Son Heung-Min.

Sky Sports claims that the North London outfit is in talks with Nuno Espirito Santo after talks with Antonio Conte and Paulo Fonseca broke down.

Spurs are at a crossroads and with Harry Kane already linked with a summer exit, Liverpool should compound their angst by poaching both Son Heung-Min and Tanguy Ndombele.

Son one of the best in the business

While the South Korean has an odd tendency to fade in games when Kane isn't in full pomp, he is undoubtedly one of the very best in the business.

Son scored 22 goals and assisted 17 in all competitions this season and showed why he is rated so highly.

He was terrifying at Anfield in December when he exposed Rhys Williams' lack of space to run in behind the Reds to score an equaliser.

While he'd need to take up a more central role for Liverpool, his pace, high pressing and clinical finishing would be unbelievable to watch under Jurgen Klopp's guidance.

I strongly believe the German could turn him into a 30-goal a season striker.

Ndombele the perfect Wijnaldum replacement

The French midfielder might just be the only midfielder in the Premier League that can match Wijnaldum's ability to evade a high press.

They had similar numbers this season for ball recoveries and possession lost which suggest it would be a straightforward swap.

Still just 24 years of age, Ndombele is a gifted player and more than capable of slotting into Liverpool's midfield without a great deal of fuss.

Son is rated at £76.5m by Transfermarkt while Ndombele is valued at £45m which would mean a combined move would cost in the region of £121.5m which sounds ridiculous.

Yet, I think it would be well worth it as they could help guide Liverpool to Premier League glory.
