"Jota sustains injury" - Liverpool fans given major scare after former defender plays cruel Instagram prank

Liverpool fans have been given a major scare by Jose Enrique after the former left-back published a spoof post on Instagram, joking that Jota had been injured in action for Portugal.

It wouldn't come as a surprise. I mean, this season, Liverpool have had an unprecedented number of injuries and in the past, the international break has proven to be an unnecessary way for players to pick up injuries.

While Cristiano Ronaldo has grabbed all the headlines due to his decision to leave the pitch after his stoppage-time winner against Serbia was incorrectly disallowed, Jota was Portugual's main man.

Jota has scored 15 goals for club and country this season despite missing 82 days due to a knee injury.

The remaining nine games of the Premier League are vital for Liverpool as they fight to finish inside the top four.

They remain five points behind Chelsea but with Jurgen Klopp enjoying a full squad aside from the absence of Jordan Henderson, Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez, there is a chance for the Reds to sneak back into the top four before the season ends.
