The German will be a free agent this summer and while Liverpool are in the market for a centre-back or two, the Reds shouldn't go anywhere near him.

With Ozan Kabak doing a decent job for Liverpool (he was the only defender to cover himself in glory against Real Madrid), the Reds should be making his loan-move permanent this summer.

Kabak and Ibrahima Konate should be Liverpool's defensive reinforcements before the start of next season but someone with Boateng's age and injury history shouldn't even be mentioned by Michael Edwards to Jurgen Klopp.
