Liverpool’s interest in Jude Bellingham is not new but they could surprise the world by getting him to Anfield by January.
According to reports, Liverpool could reach an agreement over a move to sign Jude Bellingham “in weeks”.
Borussia Dortmund have made it very clear that the super talented English teenager will not be allowed to leave the club this summer but the Reds could secure his services for future transfer windows.
He’s valued at around £103M and would increase the quality available to Jurgen Klopp in central midfield considerably.
What the Reds lack in midfield is a high-quality right central midfielder capable of dictating play and storming the box much like Georginio Wijnaldum did in 2016 alongside Emre Can and Jordan Henderson.
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Jude Bellingham but the deal could be done in January.
The Reds have been heavily linked with a move for the highly coveted midfielder for most of the summer window.
Such a high-profile target will take time to convince, but the latest reports suggest Liverpool are making moves behind the scenes.
Bellingham will stay at Dortmund this summer – but next season? He could be walking out at Anfield.
Jude Bellingham: "You can have all the money you want from playing football, you can buy whatever you want, but being appreciated for creating so many memories for so many people.
"That's the thing that motivates me in football."

Latest reports on Bellingham
According to Football Insider, sources have told them that Liverpool are confident of striking a deal for the young superstar and could even finalise it ‘within weeks’.
The publication also claims that if Liverpool can agree a deal for Bellingham, Reds fans may not have to wait until next summer with a January transfer possible.
A deal being concluded this early is not something out of the ordinary for Liverpool.
The club has moved quickly to sign most of their players since Jurgen Klopp took charge and the behind-the-scenes work has contributed to major signings such as Thiago, Darwin Nunez and Virgil van Dijk.
Bellingham’s qualities – perfect for Liverpool?
The 19-year-old has already shown a high level of quality in his short career so far.
Having already played over 90 games for Borussia Dortmund his experience level is incredible for a player of his age. Not to mention the effect he is having on games.
His versatility and quality in each of the midfield positions (N.6/N.8/N.10) is quite frankly astounding.
This could allow Klopp to rotate, change formation or simply bolster his 4-3-3.
Producing goals and assists from midfield as well, it could plug the only area of ‘weakness’ in Liverpool’s side – a lack of goals from midfield and Bellingham could certainly be the man to do that.
