Liverpool confirm leak of gorgeous yellow Nike kit set to be officially unveiled on Wednesday

Via a video on Twitter, Liverpool have confirmed a leak of a gorgeous yellow Nike kit that will be officially unveiled on Wednesday.

The club will finally unveil its third kit on Wednesday and after months of speculation and superb fan-made concepts that we have covered, we finally know what the kit will look like.

A leak by Footy Headlines in August was photoshopped by a user on Twitter and a video from the club on Twitter seems to have confirmed the leak.

I personally love it but I have already seen some comments below the tweet from fans comparing it to a McDonald’s meal wrapper which is quite funny to be fair.

The timing of the release is fantastic because I associate the club’s third kits with away days in the Champions League and with European nights right around the corner, we should soon see this strip in action.

Hopefully, Liverpool can achieve a lot more in this strip than the team did in 2014/15.

Liverpool finished sixth that season but Jurgen Klopp has a much better squad available to him now than Brendan Rodgers did then although I imagine the German might have done better with Gerrard in his final year at Anfield.

Much like the orange kit from the 2017/18 season, this yellow kit could have the potential for some great memories.
