Informed journalist: Liverpool "out of the race" to sign €100M future superstar despite agreeing on personal terms

Liverpool are "out of the race" to sign Aurelien Tchouameni from AS Monaco as Real Madrid are close to a "total agreement" worth €100M including bonuses.

It's also fair to assume Klopp wouldn't want to make such a high profile signing unless the player in question would dramatically improve the side.

Virgil van Dijk and Alisson Becker are the only two signings the Reds have made in that mould and they have more than justified the record fees paid to bring them to Anfield.

They've since gone on to win every trophy available since and there are very few complaints about how Liverpool conduct their transfers anymore.
