Celtic forward Liel Abada says Liverpool is his "biggest dream" but has admitted that he needs to prove himself more before he earns a move to Anfield.

The Reds are going to be linked with forward after forward until the January transfer window ends unless Divock Origi or Takumi Minamino miraculously step up and deliver the goods.

Karim Adeyemi has emerged as a strong attacking candidate for Liverpool but it appears as though he first wants to move to Germany before taking the step into the Premier League fray.

Liel Abada hasn't exactly been linked with a move to Liverpool but he's admitted his love for the club and says that he has no greater desire than to move to Merseyside.

While I totally agree that Abada needs to prove himself in order to get his dream switch to the Reds, there is no denying that he's a talented player and is one Celtic fans would be sad to see leave the club.

Last season, he scored 13 goals and assisted 4 and is already on a tear this term with 6 goals and 4 assists in 15 games for Celtic.

Abada could be the perfect FSG signing

Most Liverpool fans are tired of the current transfer model after seeing their rivals each spend over £100million in the summer but it could be that Abada is the perfect FSG recruit.

He's only 20 years old but he's already showing that he has the ability to contribute at the top end of the pitch with regularity and is an absolute speed merchant.

Not only is the right-footed winger rapid but he also has the skill and technique to slalom past defenders and while that will, of course, be more difficult in the Premier League, he looks like an exciting talent.

He only just turned 20 but Liverpool like to buy their players when they're young and if Abada can continue in his current vein of form, he could play his way into contention for a move to Liverpool or a side like Tottenham.
