Jurgen Klopp "desperate" to sign Adama Traore

Liverpool are said to be making a move for Wolves winger Adama Traore.

The Reds have enquired about the 24-year-old and the player would be tempted by a move, report The Mirror.

The paper reports that Jurgen Klopp is "desperate" to sign Traore. He is a big fan of the player.

Speaking at his press conference after Liverpool's 2-1 win over Wolves in January, Klopp described the Spaniard as "unplayable".

Speaking to BT Sport after the same game, Traore named Liverpool as the best team in Europe, as quoted by The Daily Star.

There is clearly a mutual admiration between player and club.

A move for the Spaniard would certainly excite Reds fans.

This excitement would be multiplied due to the fact that Liverpool have already missed out on Timo Werner.

Signing Adama would make up for this disappointment.

The wide-man came up through Barcelona's famed La Masia academy.

He has always been physically gifted, possessing pace to rival Olympic sprinters.

In recent years, he has added immense power to his physical gifts, proving to be one of the league's strongest players.

However, he lacked the end product to succeed in Catalonia. He was sold to Aston Villa in 2015.

His time in England began in hit-and-miss fashion. He showed flashes of brilliance while regularly demonstrating his poor final ball.

He began to shine for Middlesbrough in the Championship in 2017/18.

His form earned him an £18 million move to Premier League side Wolves ahead of the 2018/19 season.

After a somewhat ironic slow start at the Molineux, Traore has lit up the Premier League this season.

Playing on the right-wing, Traore has earned rave reviews.

His always-brilliant dribbling ability has improved, and he has finally added some end product.

He has scored four goals and created seven assists in 28 league games.

Traore would be ideal cover for Mo Salah and Sadio Mane on the flanks.

He would be devastating coming off the bench later in games in order to rest the current duo.

Klopp could also play a 4-2-3-1 by putting Traore on the right and moving Salah up front.
