Exciting new signing that Klopp can transform into the next Premier League dazzler spotted at AXA Training Centre

Jurgen Klopp can turn new signing Fabio Carvalho into the next dazzler and after he was pictured in pre-season training, it’s the perfect time to discuss his potential impact.

The Reds are working on their fitness and establishing their tactics and formation ahead of the new season with a host of young players and new signings in attendance.

Neco Williams has not been down to the Kirkby training facility as a move to Nottingham Forest edges closer and closer.

Fabio Carvalho signs for Liverpool

The teenager joins the Reds from Fulham this summer and will not be sent out on loan, the Daily Mail’s Dominic King confirmed in May.

His role is yet to be confirmed either by Klopp but where he is played during pre-season will no doubt provide clues.

A shining role in Fulham’s promotion to the Premier League last season was enough for the Reds to recruit him.

11 goals in 8 assists during a special season serves as a preview to his debut season at Anfield.

Klopp can turn Carvalho into the next Anfield dazzler

Critics have often labelled Klopp’s football with the Reds as functional and transactional; serving the purpose of winning games as effectively as possible.

Yet, that point of view completely dismisses the magic on show from players like Mohamed Salah, Thiago, Trent Alexander-Arnold and more often than not, Roberto Firmino.

The Brazilian battled with injuries last season but he still managed 11 goals and 5 assists from his limited game time – 1,800 minutes spread across sporadic spells in the team.

Yet, Klopp’s team will always have room for a player like the Brazilian. The space created by the selfless attacker is so important not to mention his ability to knit play together like the magician he is.

Roberto Firmino

Carvalho is more like a mix between Firmino and Philippe Coutinho with the movement of a player like Sadio Mane.

With predators like Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota to combine with, Carvalho will feast when played as a no.10.

Many times last season, Caralho combined expertly with Harry Wilson and Aleksandar Mitrovic on the Serb’s way to a haul of 43 goals and 7 assists.

How much will Fabio Carvalho play?

That’s the main question, isn’t it?

Fabio Carvalho

Last season, he played 3,000 minutes for Fulham across 38 games.

I would be shocked if he played that much football this season for Liverpool given the competition and quality surrounding the 19-year-old.

Carvalho will likely play around 1,000 minutes in the Premier League depending on the way Liverpool set up.

Opportunities will be aplenty in the domestic cups and hopefully, we see him combine with Diaz and Nunez in particular in the Community Shield at the end of the month.
