The noise surrounding Jarrod Bowen to Liverpool is real and there is a strong chance he could move to Anfield in the summer if the price is right.

West Ham vs. Leeds United on Sunday was an absolutely sensational game. It ended 3-2 and would have been 4-2 had Mateusz Klich not had a goal disallowed.

It was really fascinating to watch as it gave us a chance to watch both Bowen and Raphinha up close at the same time and the latter was the one to come up trumps as he created 7 chances for the away side in a 5-star attacking performance.

If I had to choose, I'd pick the Brazilian over the Englishman but there's no denying that the former Hull City star is enjoying a fantastic campaign. In all competitions for West Ham this season, he has 9 goals and 10 assists.

That's a fantastic return. Considering Liverpool fans wax lyrical about Diogo Jota scoring 12 goals and assisting just 2, Bowen has to be praised for getting 19 goal contributions from a predominantly wide right role.

The Daily Express reports that he is valued at £50million (€59m) which makes sense as clubs are forced to pay a premium for English talent from Premier League clubs which is why players like Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling will find it so hard to leave their respective clubs.

Liverpool will be looking to bolster and reinforce their attacking ranks and Bowen is a player that they are considering, according to the Athletic, and so next summer could be the window that the Reds finally sign Bowen.

James Pearce reports that "last summer that West Ham United wide-man Bowen featured on Liverpool’s shortlist of attacking targets."

The Reds have reportedly monitored his impressive progress since then.

He has already matched and bettered his tally of 8 goals and 6 assists and so it's clear he's a player that has the potential to grow and improve under Jurgen Klopp.

The left-footed forward is open to a move to Anfield in the summer, according to Football Insider.

The forward, unsurprisingly, is “keen” on a move to Anfield “if a deal can be agreed in the summer window.”

Former Leeds United goalkeeper Paddy Kenny believes Liverpool will have to spend £50m-60million to sign Bowen but backed them to have a bid expected.

That said, they should steer clear if that's how much it would cost to land the Hammers star.
