Massive injury boost – £180,000/week Liverpool star spotted in training as chances of facing Real Madrid skyrocket

Liverpool midfielder Fabinho was spotted in Liverpool’s open training session on Wednesday as they prepare for the Champions League final.

The Brazilian star has been injured for 15 days after suffering an injury against Aston Villa in the Premier League.

He missed the FA Cup final triumph over Chelsea and the last two games of the Premier League season bit his chances of playing in the final against Real Madrid have skyrocketed.

Thiago was not spotted in training and remains a major doubt to face the La Liga champions in Paris at the weekend.

Thiago Fabinho injury concerns

Joe Gomez, who suffered a nasty-looking injury against Southampton, has also trained and is now In contention to feature in Liverpool’s squad for the final. Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah, who were both nursing injuries, were also in attendance.

Fabinho, who earns £180,000 per week, is crucial to Klopp’s system and his return to full team training is a massive boost to Liverpool’s chances of winning a 7th European Cup final. Real Madrid will be wary of the Reds after they missed out on winning the Premier League on Sunday.

Liverpool should use the disappointment of not winning the league as fuel for their fight to win the Champions League. The Merseysiders can still win a treble after their quadruple hopes were dashed.
