"Technical player, very fast": Dirk Kuyt hails €75million Liverpool target that Jurgen Klopp would make world class

Arnaut Danjuma is reportedly a target for Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp would make him world-class if the Reds ever decided to trigger his £63 million release clause.

Liverpool's attacking depth is staggering so to suggest the Reds need any more signings in that department until a couple of players leave might seem might seem silly.

But with Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah all out of contract at the end of next season and no solution any closer for any of them, Liverpool may be considering replacing one or two of them in the not so distant future.

Danjuma, who has been excellent for Villarreal this season, is a target for the Reds, according to Goal, although his £63million release clause is prohibitive.

With Liverpool set to take the Yellow Submarina on at Anfield, Kuyt spoke to Voetbal Primeur about the 25-year-old.

“Danjuma is a great player,” Kuyt said. “I think Villarreal did a really good job of bringing him in.

“I think the Liverpool fans have seen him play against Manchester United in the Champions League (in the group-stages).

“He is a technical player who is also very fast. Liverpool have to be very careful with him.

“Especially in counter attacks, (Villarreal) are very strong in that.”

Jurgen Klopp would no doubt be able to take the Dutch star to the next level at Liverpool as he has been able to do with each attacker under his management.

The German has a gift for getting the best out of his players and throughout his career, the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane have developed into Europe's best with his help.

Danjuma might not necessarily be destined for those heights but it's not outrageous that he'd only improve with a manager like Jurgen Klopp on his side.
