This happened again during training at Montpellier with former manager Michel Der Zakarian, resulting in him being called a "cry-baby" by many.

The 34-year-old was accused of grabbing Der Zakarian by the collar in retaliation, which caused him to go over and injure his neck.

Resulting in a seven-month absence from the game as he was once again a free agent.

Nevertheless, he has recently joined the Georgian team FC Torpedo Kutaisi, who is managed by Steve Kean, the former manager of Blackburn Rovers.

In addition to being a player for the team, he has taken on the job of ambassador to support the academy prospects.

RMC Sport have reported, he agreed to a one-year deal with an option to extend it. However, his first task will be to get his new team to the top of the table—they are currently in second place, four points behind.

How will he face?

Given that FIFA and UEFA had previously confirmed reports of the Frenchman had allegedly consumed prohibited drugs, it's safe to conclude that he never lived up to the the hype that had previously surrounded him.

Sakho's lawsuit was eventually dropped, nevertheless, because it was later determined that the item was not on the World Anti Doping Agency's list. Even though he was acquitted of all accusations, the harm appeared to be irreversible because he had missed the European Championship with his native France and the Europa League Final as a result of the accusations.

But afterwards, he would have a great loan stint in the Premier League at Crystal Palace. Following his decision to sign a permanent contract with the Eagles, he spent two seasons with Montpellier.

It has always been a question of wondering what may have happened because controversy always appeared to be at the epicentre of his career. But given his age of thirty-four, it seems like a wise decision, especially considering the competitiveness of the previous leagues he has participated in. In an effort to end his playing pleasantly, the Frenchman should find this to be much simpler and more pleasurable.
