Liverpool to launch shock move for €60M-rated England international

Liverpool have reportedly lined up multiple deals ahead of this summer.

The reds will make big transfer decisions at the end of the season. Liverpool reportedly want to see how the rest of this campaign plays out before making any changes to the squad. That was the main reason why Federico Chiesa was the only first team signing in the summer.

Arne Slot has made the best of what is at his disposal this campaign. The Dutchman’s new style has brought the best out of some players. Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo and Ryan Gravenberch were very inconsistent last season. But this year, Diaz and Gakpo are part of a formidable attack, and Gravenberch has proven himself to be one of the best players in the league.

Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold are all out of contract this summer. The trio could potentially leave on free transfers. Salah and Van Dijk have hinted that they would consider staying if the club meets their demands. Trent on the other hand, is almost out of the door. The right back is in talks with Real Madrid, with reports claiming the deal is almost done.

The potential departures of these three players will factor in this summer’s transfer plans. Salah has been key to the teams success, with 21 goals and 13 assists this season. Losing Salah will be a huge blow as not many can match his influence on the attack.

Football Insider report that the reds are keeping an eye on Jarrod Bowen ahead of this summer. If Salah does leave, the West Ham United man could arrive at Anfield. This is according to Mick Brown, who worked as a scout at West Ham under David Moyes.

“Bowen is a fantastic asset to West Ham,” he said.

“Liverpool have been keeping an eye on him actually, because of the situation they’re in with Salah, Bowen would be the perfect player to come in and replace him.

“He would be more than capable and he’d do a good job for Liverpool.

“So that might be one they look to do in the summer, even though he’s happy and playing for West Ham, they might see if they can tempt him.”

Bowen would be a good replacement

Jarrod Bowen has been one of the most underrated attackers in the league for a while. He has been directly involved in 65 goals in the Premier League since the start of the 2021/22 season. Bowen will not match Salah’s production, but he can provide at least a fraction of it. Not many wide players in the league can boast of that. Liverpool have the perfect opportunity to make a good signing this summer.
