Liverpool target Chelsea star

Despite the overwhelming successes on the field, Liverpool are still dealing with issues behind the scenes. Their best players this season have yet to sign new contracts. Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold could all leave Anfield in the summer.

Salah and Van Dijk have recently hinted that the could remain at the club, depending on what they are offered. The duo have been very vocal of ending this season with a few trophies. Trent on the other hand is seemingly off to Real Madrid. Spanish media have claimed that the deal is almost done ahead of the summer.

With Trent on his way out of the club, Liverpool have made a surprising choice as his replacement. Caught Offside report that Chelsea star Malo Gusto has been lined up for a move. The 21-year old has had some success in his Chelsea career, but there is the feeling he could be persuaded to leave. As it stands, Gusto continues to deputize for club captain Reece James.

It has been reported that Malo Gusto has changed his agent, possibly hinting to a move in the summer. And with Chelsea’s willingness to move their players for the right fee, the French star could be available.

Will Malo Gusto be sold?

The new Chelsea owners are focused on making profit off of talent. They have bought and sold many players within the last two seasons, even sold some to Premier League rivals. Liverpool seriously need to consider a move for Gusto. He only cost Chelsea €30 million, so anything above that price could be a valuable deal. The reds can lock down the right back slot with two of the most talented players in the league in Malo Gusto and Conor Bradley.
