Hearts are closing in on a deal to sign Falkirk winger Calvin Miller, with the transfer expected to be completed within the next 48 hours.
The Jambos have had the wide man on their shortlist of potential signings since the turn of the year, making him a long-pursued target.
The Scottish Sun claims the 28-year-old is expected to make the switch to Tynecastle within the next couple of days.
Miller is set to become Hearts’ third signing of the summer, following Josh McPake and MJ Kamson-Kamara, who have already been confirmed on pre-contract agreements.
Manager Derek McInnes is building his squad for another title challenge, with the club also set to compete in European football after a second-placed finish last term.
Hearts are keen to strengthen their wide options, and Miller would join McPake, Alexandros Kyziridis, Sabah Kerjota and Islam Chesnokov in providing depth in those areas.
There is interest in Chesnokov from his homeland Kazakhstan, meaning it remains to be seen whether he will still be at Hearts next season.
The Jambos are also in talks with French third-tier outfit Rouen over a deal for powerhouse forward Amadou Ba-Sy, who was a target in January but the clubs could not agree on a fee at the time.
Ba-Sy could be joined at Gorgie by former National Championnat rival Tom Renaud, a French midfielder who previously played for Versailles FC.
A deal for Renaud is thought to be done, with Hearts still to officially announce his capture from the French club.
